In our 3D modelling workshops held at Gimnazija Metkovic, students had the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of three-dimensional design. During these sessions, we taught participants the essential techniques and tools for creating 3D models using specialised software.
One of the most exciting aspects of the workshop was the scanning of some of the students' faces, which were then 3D printed. This process allowed participants to see how their features were translated into digital models and then into physical objects, which generated great enthusiasm and a sense of achievement.
Throughout the workshop, students also learned how to conceptualise and develop their own 3D models, focusing on fundamental elements such as geometry, texturing and lighting. Practical exercises fostered their creativity and technical skills, culminating in the presentation of their work.
